In Blossom Green, in our English lessons we have been reminding ourselves about how to be an effective talk partner. We discussed what made a good talk partner and spent time listening and speaking to our talk partners. We also started learning about 'The Snowman' and have been focusing on retelling the story.

In Blossom Red, our new story we are focusing on in English is called 'Poles Apart' by Jeanne Willis and Jarvis. We started by writing predictions on a post-it note for what we thought might happen in the text based on the front cover. We then did some research about the North Pole and started writing fact files about the North Pole.
