In our English lessons, we have been learning what modal verbs are and how to use them in our writing.  We then went on to do some research, using our text, about what equipment the Mars Rover has. After that, we used the information we had collected and all the work we completed last week to draw and label our own Mars rover and annotate it clearly explaining what each part is and why it is needed.

In maths, we have been learning about money - how to round to the nearest £1, £10 or £100 and add, then adjust our answers depending on our adjustments.

We had a great day out at Hampton Court - we’ll be doing some more work around our trip in our history lessons.

Next week, we are going to work out change and do some more problem solving involving money.
