We have been learning about food in Design Technology. We have previously learnt about the foods eaten during Tudor times and compared the diets of rich and poor Tudors. We have learnt about the different parts of the world and UK where our food comes from today. This week we have been designing our Tumbles or Tudor biscuits. We have looked at different Tudor knot designs and selected the ones we want to recreate in biscuit form. We have chosen the different spices we will use to flavour them too. Today we practised making our knots using play dough so when we come to make our biscuits next week they will look fantastic. Hopefully, they will taste pretty good too.
