In Year 5 this week, we were fortunate to be invited to an Easter experience at New Malden Baptist Church. We had a very fun, engaging session as we were taken back in time with a theatrical show that shared an insight on what life was like when Jesus was alive and when he was resurrected. We met his disciples who shared that they loved to spread the message of Jesus, although some people didn't always agree.  We also engaged in a range of activities that allowed us to research and independently see if the word of Jesus and his disciples were true as we looked up these events in the gospel. Additionally, we were able to see Jesus' impact on many historical and present day Christians that shared how their belief in Jesus and Christianity has changed their lives.
