This week in English we have built upon our summer home learning by reading chapters 10-14 of Holes. Using our learning habit of empathy we have written diary entries from Camp Green Lake. 

In science, we have started our first topic of electricity.  Building upon our Year 4 knowledge of circuits, we have identified parts of a circuit and have learnt their role as well as their scientific symbol. 

In topic, we have begun our WW2 unit. We have thought about chronology and have ordered different eras and events from history that we have learnt about so far including The Stone Age, The Tudors and The Victorians. We have started to think about what we already know as well as what we would like to find out about WW2.
