In Blossom Green, we have started our new maths topic of position and direction. We have been learning left, right, forwards, backwards, next to, in and on. We have been practising using this positional language and have been playing games to help us remember the vocabulary. We will start using the language of quarter, half, three-quarter and whole turns in the coming weeks. 

In Blossom Red, we have been continuing our maths topic of fractions. We have been learning how to find a half, third and quarter of a number. We have also been learning how to find two quarters of a number and the correlation between a half and two quarters.
