This week as part of anti-bullying week, the children in Year 1 read 'Willy the Wimp' by Anthony Browne. They wrote sentences about the characters and talked about how they were feeling in the story. Additionally, in their PSHE lesson, the children shared ideas of things they could do to be kind to others. We also spoke about what being unkind looks like. They discussed what they could do and who they could talk to if someone was being unkind to them. Next week, the children will return to reading 'Pattan's Pumpkin' by Chitra Soundar.
