It's been such a delight to welcome everyone back this week, we hope you all enjoyed your half-term. Autumn has truly arrived and the children have loved making leaf pictures, raking and collecting leaves and noticing the changes in the environment. 

This week the children have been busy learning new sounds in phonics and some new concepts in maths such as a die frame for counting 5. We have been looking at the story Chapatti Moon and have learnt the story and tried some chapatti this week. 

Next week we will be continuing to build on 5 in maths and making changes to our story in Chapatti Moon. We will be baking some chapatti next week and the children are excited to begin!
