Continuing with our topic learning after our successful trip to the Imperial War Museum, we have been learning about Winston Churchill. We have found out that he didn't do very well in school but became a war hero for his daring escape during the Boer War. When he was no longer Prime Minister, he took up painting and became a very skilled artist. We used a mind map to organise all of the information we discovered and used symbols and notes to record it all. Next week, we will use this to write a fact file about Winston Churchill.
