This week, the children in Year 1 and 2 have been reading the book Owl Babies in their English lessons.

We read the story page by page and the children made predictions as to what they thought would happen next. We have used vocabulary to describe the owls in the book and talked about how owls are awake at night. We read the book in the dark to imagine what it is like for owls being in the dark. We also thought of words to describe what we might see and hear in a wood.  The children really love this story!
