Our new story is The Three Little Wolves and the Big, Bad Pig. The children are enjoying looking at similarities and differences between it and the traditional tale of The Three Little Pigs and the Big, Bad Wolf. 

This week they took part in several Conscience Alley exercises. Conscious Alley is collaborative presentation of an argument. The children get to learn how to develop an argument in response to a question set by the teacher.  The children debated whether the wolves should build a house of flowers and whether the wolves should let the pig live with them.
