In Year 2, we have been working very hard in English, finishing our work on George's Marvellous Medicine. 

In maths we have continued to look at the divisor, dividend and quotient, using 2, 5 and 10 times tables. 

In art, we worked on our block printing techniques. We learnt about colour mixing first, then we drew our owls on post-its, then we transferred the image to tracing paper, and finally we used pencils to score our polystyrene blocks. Next week, we will be using paint to print our blocks to create a repeating pattern. 

Reminder - Tuesday is our trip to the Rose Theatre for the Kingston Singing Festival. The concert is at 2pm. You can either collect your child from the Rose at 3pm or we will bring them back to school for you. Just let the office know. Thank you.
