This week the children have enjoyed listening to the story ‘The Very Hungry Caterpillar’. They have been learning the signs for the days of the week and the different fruits in the story. During the carpet input the children have enjoyed practising writing the number three and singing number songs. They especially enjoyed singing three little monkeys swinging in the tree and three little men in flying saucer. 

Lots of the children have been busy in the art areas this week, creating beautiful paintings of daffodils and tulips. We have experimented with using our fingers and hands to make different shapes and designs as well as adding collage and junk modelling.
