This week we carried on reading and learning through the book 'The Gigantic Turnip'. The children worked hard to cut up potatoes, onions, carrots and turnips. The soup was cooked in a slow cooker and then all the children had the chance to taste it. Lots of the children thought it was delicious! Thank you to everyone for the food donations that allowed us to make it! The children have also been learning about spring and they have been drawing, painting and making collages of daffodils and blossom.
