This week in nursery we have been learning about the number two. The children have enjoyed discussing the Number Blocks clip, playing games and finding two objects in the class. During free flow lots of the children have been trying to write the number two independently on the white board, with chalk outside and with paints. 

For our story of the week we have been reading Handa’s Surprise. The children have learned about the different fruits and vegetables from the story developing their vocabulary with some new words including spiky and creamy.  We will be continuing this story next week when the children will have the opportunity to learn more about Africa and try some of the delicious fruits from the story.
