In Blossom Green, we have started our new topic of length and height. We have been comparing items by discussing which are shorter and longer. We have also been measuring different items and have been writing down the measurements in centimetres. We will begin to move on to worded problems with length and height.

In Blossom Red, we have been continuing our topic of number. We have been learning how to recognise the value of each digit in a three digit number and we have been focusing on the number 100. We have been using diene blocks to show that 10 tens is equivalent to 100 and we have been using a metre stick to count to 100 in tens.
