This week the children have been busy exploring in the mud kitchen. They have been learning how to put their water suits and wellies on independently. The teachers have been encouraging and supporting children to do this by narrating and helping with parts of the process of getting changed. In the mud kitchen, the children have been mark making, cooking chocolate cakes and exploring the leaves and plants in the surrounding areas.

For our story this week we have been reading ‘You Choose’. This is a great book for building vocabulary, as there are lots of discussion points on each page.  The children have particularly enjoyed discussing which house they would like to live in and what their different homes look like.
