We have two special days coming up, therefore this week our art area has  focused on Valentine’s Day and Chinese New Year. The children have made valentines cards using glitter to give to someone special to them and we have also been designing Chinese Lanterns using pens and sequins.

We have also been keeping active this week with daily workouts that have involved listening to music and moving our bodies to the actions and music. We have been stretching, jumping, twirling and hopping. The children chose to do this by themselves or with a partner. While doing this activity we were developing our skills to listen, understand instructions and learn how to follow.
