This week in nursery we have been focusing on our fine motor skills and junk modelling in the art area. Lots of children have enjoyed practising their scissor skills, either by making small snips around the paper or cutting out different shapes to add to their art. In nursery, we are always trying to encourage children to be reflective and critical thinkers. The art area is the perfect place to reflect on what we did well and what we can do to improve our art work. 

During our carpet input this week, the children enjoyed the story 'Peace at Last'. This story continues our theme of listening to environmental sounds. The children enjoyed discussing the noises they could hear in the story and thinking about the noises they might hear in their own homes.
