Year 6
Science
In science this week we have looked at similarities and differences between groups in the plant kingdom, such as mosses. We have used our inference and retrieval skills to find answers to a range of questions. Also in science, we have revisited our learning about categories of animals (reptiles, birds, mammals, fish, amphibians etc..) Being independent and applying our research and communication skills, we have chosen a category of animal to focus on and provided information through a presentation on; distinct characteristics, type of birth, skin covering, body temperature, habitat and any other interesting facts associated with it.
Next week we are going to Chessington to take part in the Junior Citizen programme. Please make sure you give permission for the trip via Arbor and children are at school by 8.20 on Tuesday 30th January.
