This week we have been very busy in the role-play area, cooking different types of food for our teachers and friends. We have had cakes, pizzas, sandwiches and lots of drinks made for us. During role play, we have been developing communication and language skills by learning to play collaboratively, introducing new vocabulary,  and modelling how to role-play. For example, adults may demonstrate how to take an order or role play what dinner time may look like and talk about the different experiences children have at home.
