This week we have been focusing on our gross motor skills. The children had great fun using the balance bikes and practising their riding skills. We used the traffic lights in the playground to stop and go. We have been playing ball games and developing our throwing and catching skills in pairs. This has been helping us to develop our hand and eye coordination. 

In the outside construction area, the children used the large waffle blocks to build a variety of things like castles, cars and houses, then we had a go at building a large obstacle course with the large wooden blocks. This also helped us to practise our balancing skills and taught us to help each other if we find it a bit tricky to walk around the course.
