The children have really enjoyed learning The Little Red Hen over the past 2 weeks. They have used story maps to help them retell the story and they have done a great job of performing the story with actions. As part of learning about the story, we made dough for bread rolls, just like the hen from the story. The children all had their own dough to practise kneading and help them learn the word 'knead' which was part of the vocabulary they have been learning.
