This week in Nursery we have been continuing our theme of owls and reading the book ‘Wow Said the Owl’ in preparation for our trip to the Polka Theatre. The children have loved joining in with the book's repeated line ‘Wow said the owl’ and have really enjoyed talking about their favourite colours in the book. We have been discussing which colours we can see in our environment, different shades of colours and their names. As the weather has been so nice this week we thought we would make the most of the warm autumn and enjoy our snack and story outside. We really enjoyed talking about the changing leaves in the garden and the apples that are falling from the tree.
