In our maths lessons, Year 1 are already learning to recognise and write numbers from 0 up to 100. We are beginning to learn about 2-digit numbers, where the first digit stands for the tens and the second digit stands for the ones. We will soon be learning to build numbers with tens and ones using different practical resources. You can support our learning by keeping an eye out for 2-digit numbers at home or in the street.
