As part of our Design Technology learning, Year 1 have been trying their hand at sewing this week. For most of us it was our first attempt at running stitch and, while it is fair to say that many of us found it quite challenging at first, by the end of this week lots of our children were able to keep our stitches in a nice straight line. We are hoping to produce a piece of textile work to take home before the end of term.
