The children are continuing to explore their environment and settle into school routines. They are enjoying playing with the toys and equipment. The train set is especially popular at the minute! We are all very proud of the learning that the children are doing. They have written their first words in their phonics lessons. We practised writing 'sit' and 'Sam'. They all worked so hard!

We would like to remind parents to make sure they have signed up to attend our phonics workshops so that you are able to support your child's reading at home. The first workshop will be held on Thursday 29th September from 3.15pm-4.15pm and the following workshop will be on Monday 3rd October, also from 3.15pm-4.15pm. We will have adults available to look after the children and their siblings in their classrooms while the workshop is happening. We look forward to seeing you all there!
