This week, in English we have been continuing  our learning about Roald Dahl's book George's Marvellous Medicine. The children are thoroughly enjoying it, and I am sure they would love to tell you what has happened in the story so far. The children were challenged (in groups), to come up with sentences containing; an expanded noun phrase, a time adverbial, an adverb, and a -ful, -ly or -est suffix ending - to describe some of the different items George found in each room. He then carefully and quietly added these dangerous, poisonous and disgustingly smelly ingredients to his grandma's marvellous medicine.
