In English this week we have been reading Tilda Tries Again by Tom Percival. 

In the story Tilda finds it hard to keep on trying when she finds something difficult. Then one day she sees a ladybird on its back. She notices how the ladybird keeps on trying to turn over and doesn't give up!

Tilda realises she can be resilient like the ladybird when she finds something tricky.

All the children made a ladybird to remind them to be resilient too.
