This week, Year 4 had an exciting science lesson as we built our first simple circuit. We worked in small groups and were able to use a wire, cell (battery) and a light bulb or a motor, and we successfully made the light bulbs and motors work. We learnt that all the wires had to be connected in order for the electricity to flow through the wires and into the bulb and motors. We also found out that the metal needs to be touching the metal in order for it to conduct electricity. We are going to continue to investigate different circuits as the weeks go by.
