This week in Reception the children have been discussing the months of year and the different seasons.  In the garden area the children have been noticing blossom on the trees, we have been talking how this happens in the spring time.  The children also painted their very own blossom trees!  In maths the children have been learning their doubles up to 5.  For example '5 and 5' and using their new maths language to describe what they see 'This is a double because 5 is a part and 5 is a part'.
