Using our teeth to bite into an apple!
In science this week, we used our previous knowledge of teeth and their functions to investigate and make a prediction of what teeth we will need to use to bite into an apple. We made our predictions then got to eat a piece of an apple ourselves to figure out which teeth we used. We then compared our teeth to animal teeth, and found out that carnivores have lots of sharper teeth such as canines to rip meat, while herbivores do not have as many.
Thank you to the parents who came to read with your child today and for taking the time to create a costume for your child.
