This week we have been learning about Shrove Tuesday, the day that's celebrated by many Christians around the world before the start of Lent. As Christians give something up for Lent, Pancake Day was traditionally a day to use up supplies of milk, eggs and butter. We joined in the festivities by eating pancakes and filling them with strawberries, lemon and sugar or syrup. It tasted delicious!
