This week we have started our new book ‘The Graveyard Book’ by Neil Gaiman. We have begun to predict what might happen in the story as well as beginning to empathise with the main characters. 

Using our great collaboration skills, in science we have been researching the phylum chordata (animals with backbones) which is divided into five common classes: fish, amphibians, reptiles, mammals and birds. We had to use a range of media to research; 

• What the group is about, 

• Type of birth, 

• Skin/body covering, 

• Breathing, 

• Body temperature,

• Where they live, 

• Interesting facts. 

In pairs, we decided how to display our research and will be presenting these next week.
