As the children enjoyed last week's story so much we have decided to follow the theme of transport in this week's book ‘'You can’t take an Elephant on the Bus'. The children have enjoyed discussing the different animals and talking about their favourite mode of transport.  We have also learned some new songs, Alice the camel and a big red bus. The children even helped us come up with a new verse for the song adding in a roller coaster, motor bike and bicycle. 

We have continued talking about our visit to the local library and how we are going to travel there with our parents and teachers on the 131 bus. We have also been discussing what we will do in the library and the books we could borrow.
