In our English lessons this week, Year 1 have been learning about verbs and how we use them in sentences. In our story of Giraffes Can't Dance, the Warthogs were waltzing and the rhinos rock-and-rolled - so we practised sentences like "Noah nodded his head" and "Fred flapped his fingers". Hopefully we will remember that this is called alliteration, but if not we certainly enjoyed it!
