Happy New Year! We hope you all had a wonderful and restful break. We have entered 2023 very positively in Year 5, as everybody has returned to school with a positive attitude to learning!

We have dived straight into learning this week as we have been using resources and varied representations to help us understand how to divide a two-digit number by a single digit number. The use of counters showed us that we can sometimes get remainders and at times we need to exchange numbers to ensure we share equally.
