This term we have started reading War of the Worlds as part of our English and Guided Reading. Soon we will be writing a description of the Martians using all the writing skills we have learnt, such as expanded noun phrases, fronted adverbials and subordinate conjunctions. In order to prepare for our writing, we read the description of the Martians and drew what we thought they looked like.
