This term we are starting to learn about the Ancient Egyptians.  We have looked at a timeline and became Egyptologists for a while - studying pictures archeologists found in tombs.  We learned where Egypt is and some of the features of the country.

All our English and guided reading sessions will be based around the fabulous book ‘Secrets of a Sun King’ which we have already started reading and we are all desperate to know what happens next.  Next week,  we will be continuing our learning and finding out about the Nile and why it was essential to Ancient Egyptian civilisation.
