This week's story is The Extraordinary Gardener, a story about a boy named Joe who wants to make his world more exciting and colourful. Inspired by this, we have set about planting some plants and vegetables in our outside area. Thank you for any donations of seeds or soil you have made and if you do have any more to spare, we would happily receive them. The children planted their own bean seeds in a pot this week also. 

We have been learning about repeating patterns in maths and the children have become more and more confident with making their own and solving missing pattern problems. 

Next week we will be learning about number bonds within 10 and looking at some non-standard and standard measures.
