Thanks to the fantastic support from our parents, both Year 1 classes enjoyed a workshop from Freshwater Theatre Company on Tuesday. We time-travelled to Pudding Lane in the city of London in the Year 1666, where we recreated the lives of the inhabitants, witnessed the spread of the fire and how it impacted on everyone in London. The children were thoroughly engaged by this approach and were keen to show of the knowledge they already had about this important historical event. Thank you again to all our parents for your amazing support, and we look forward to being able to provide more high-quality learning experiences like this. May we remind you of the parents' meeting about the Phonic Screening check at 9am on Wednesday 2nd April, and another chance at 2.45pm the same day.
