Our book this week was We're Going on a Bear Hunt by Michael Rosen. The book teaches prepositions such as: over, under, through, up and down. It also introduces onomatopoeia (sounds words, such as splosh and squelch). The children love it! They especially enjoy going on a hunt in the playground. We learnt a new song called On In Under By, with examples and related hand signs.

We are looking forward to Valentines Day activities next week.
