This week we finished our first piece of independent writing based on our text "Sleeper and the Spindle". We have been looking at how authors use dialogue in narrative. Particularly, how they move the action on and provide extra information about the characters. We have mastered how to use the punctuation needed for dialogue over the last few weeks and have made sure to include it correctly in our writing. I think you will agree our work looks very impressive. Next, we are going to be looking at descriptive writing but with a twist - from the point of view of an inanimate object!
