In Year 1 we are greatly enjoying our current class book, Where the Wild Things Are by Maurice Sendak. One of the most important skills we are seeking to develop in Year 1 is building the sequence of the story using pictures. This supports our ability to remember and re-tell the story, both orally using Talk-write and in our writing as well.
