This week we have been focusing on starting whole class teaching about writing sentences linked to our story. The children have really enjoyed putting their phonics knowledge into their writing.

We have been on a journey to the South Pole to help The Boy and The Penguin get home. In maths we have been focusing on sequencing numbers and working out what numbers are missing from number patterns. 

Next week we are going to be reading The Koala Who Could and maths will focus on sets of numbers beyond 5 when one more number is added to an amount.
