Nursery was filled with the sounds of children singing, laughing and playing musical instruments. Our book, Peace at Last by Jill Murphy, told how Daddy Bear couldn’t sleep because of Mummy Bear’s snoring, owls hooting, cats meowing, taps dripping and birds tweeting. The tick-tock of the cuckoo clock kept him awake too. We explored cuckoo clocks and learnt a new song about them. We also listened to various animal sounds and identified them. Well done, Nursery!
