The children this week have been getting back into their routines and lessons. The cold has been a fun learning experience this week, working out why there is sun but it's still cold, and finding ice or frost.

Our story this week has been Lost and Found, a story about a boy and a lost penguin travelling to the South Pole. We have looked at animals and the environment found there.

In maths we have been focusing on recognising number patterns found on dice and learning some games to play with dice.

Next week we are going to continue to learn and adapt our story and maths will focus on patterns we can find when numbers are one more than another.
